Menus and header
catalog.js provides the shared page inventory; core.js attaches menu, search, activity and account interactions. Test every navigation layout after changing menu markup. Use labelled controls and preserve keyboard dismissal.
Replace the logo
Update logo image references in the HTML shells. Keep relative URLs, meaningful alt text and the original aspect ratio. Use a transparent PNG when the logo sits on different sidebar backgrounds. Test expanded sidebar, icon rail and mobile header.
Shared user identity
Edit currentUser in assets/js/catalog.js for name, role and photo. Header, sidebar and default profile use this record. ?contact=id deliberately opens a directory person. Connect a real session identity when adding a backend.
